CNMCC
offers individual, child, adolescent,
adults,
couples and family therapy from all
cultures and
diversities. CNM Counseling offers
sliding scale
fees to those whose incomes are limited,
accepts
some insurance providers and Medi-Cal
& Medicare
patients. Referral ages are 5-65.
Individual
sessions are held for 50 minutes and
couples counseling
90 minutes. Treatment plans are
developed for
all clients as a way to address the
concerns of
each clients as well as to monitor the
progress
of therapy. Counseling is conducted on a
weekly
basis, 18-24 sessions or more as needed.
Cheryl
Mims is a Licensed Clinical
Social Worker
with 20 years of experience in Social
Services and
Corrections combined. Ms. Mims is
currently in private
practice in Vallejo. Ms. Mims started her
career
working for Kern County Juvenile Hall and
slowly
branched out to Group Homes, Foster Homes,
Day Treatment
Programs, Social Services, Department of
Corrections
and Solano County Mental Health, Families
&
Children.
Ms.
Mims earned her Associate Degree in
Corrections
from Bakersfield College, Bachelors of
Sociology
from the University of San Francisco,
Master of
Social Work from Clark-Atlanta University
and earned
her license in 2003.

Cheryl is currently enrolled at Argosy
University
working on her doctorate degree.
